Hi, I’m Sheila Putri, widely recognized by my pseudonym Sheila’s Playground. I’m a comic artist and urban sketcher inspired by the beauty of everyday life. Living in Jakarta, a city bursting with energy and contrasts, fuels my creativity. The hustle and bustle, the layered cultures, and the small moments often overlooked by others become the heart of my work.

With a sketchbook in hand, I document the stories of cities I visit. From vibrant markets and steep alleys to quiet metro passengers and playful cats, I capture the details that reflect a city’s soul.

I’ve been honored to share my art internationally, participating in events like the Rendez-vous de Carnet du Voyage in Clermont-Ferrand (2022 and 2023) and leading a workshop at Asia Link Suwon in 2023.

Through my art, I combine relatable storytelling with sharp concepts and thoughtful details. I value craftsmanship, humor, and the hard work that brings an idea to life.
